Dr. Matthew T. Brady, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained, general surgeon who specializes in Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Brady is a diplomate of both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is an active member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple book chapters and academic manuscripts in the field of colon and rectal surgery.

He has a specific interest in colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, rectal prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, and benign anorectal disorders. He specializes in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as transanal endoscopic operations. He is passionate about providing the most advanced care possible to his patients.

Dr. Brady received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, MA. He went on to perform his general surgery residency training at Boston University in Boston, MA. There he was the recipient of both the Junior resident and Chief resident teaching awards. During his final year of residency, he served as the Administrative Chief Resident. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following his residency training he pursued a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

He enjoys spending time outside the hospital with his family.
